Banqueting
House in London |
| The
Banqueting House is a building in italian Reinassance style, situated in
central London, completed in 1622. |
| In
1629 the King Charles I ordered to the painter Rubens
the painting that is on the ceiling, which represent scenes proclaiming the reign
of his father James I. |

I had been the only king in history to become executed, in 1649. |

His death sentence was executed outside the building. |
| Inside
Banqueting House is possible to admire the wonderful
architecture of the main hall painted by Inigo Jones and
the nine allegorical paintings on the ceiling by Peter Paul Rubens. |
