airport is situated 50 km on the north of London
and on it touch down only charter flight. |
| Luton
it is an english airport which is having a striking
growth: in less of five years the number of passengers increased from 1,9
millions to 6,5 millions. |

is a public airport owned by the Luton Borough Council,
but it is managed by a private society since about 30 years. |
| Luton
was officially opened in 1938. During the Second World War uesd to be a base for
264 chases and only after 1952
has been using again like civil airport. The same
year was built also the control tower. |

1992
and 1996 were invested 30 millions of pounds in new
infrastructures which followed an airport improvement. |

reach the center of London
from the airport it is possible to take the shuttle to Luton
station and then the train to King's
Cross St. Pancreas. |

connections with the city center the quicker way is
the train which after 40 minutes reach central
London. |
