The CitySince over 2000 years, the City is the financial centre of London. Nowadays, a few people live in this area.
The City was bombed during World War II and a lot of its buildings have been destructed. It's possible find in this area numerous churches that were built after the great fire happened in 1666.
The city has kept some of its past with the names of the streets.
Several tourist places and buildings can be visited in the City like St Paul's Cathedral that was built after the great fire in 1666, Bank Of England Museum and Mansion House, the official residence of the mayor of London.
